Data Engineer - Data Modeling

Your role and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with business and technical members of the team.

• Perform root cause analysis of reported issues.

• Facilitate data integration, data conformity, data integrity, and ensure data structures are designed for flexibility to support future business needs and enhancements.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Proven experience of 2-4 years in designing and building complex solutions based on the SAS Platform.
• Experience in supporting technical teams in identifying and solving issues related to the SAS Platform.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and related standards.
• Advanced SQL programming, PL/SQL, or T-SQL.
• SAS certification.
• Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Agile mindset - ability to process changes of priorities and requests, ownership, critical thinking.
• Experience with one of the following:
• Data Governance tools.
• Business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, SAP BI, Oracle OBIEE, SAS Visual Analytics/ Viya).
• Various cloud and integration platforms (e.g. AWS, Google, Azure).
