We are looking for

A driven and enthusiastic Data Engineer (m/w/d) who desires to contribute to the growth and success of our Data & Analytics Team.

Your role in BizAway

• Design, build, and maintain the data architecture that best supports our business needs, including the implementation of scalable and cost-effective data pipelines and data flows for structured and unstructured data.
• Manage the BizAway ETL process and implement data models to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Product and Engineering, to ensure data quality, reliability, and availability.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are in place, along with comprehensive documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.

Your Basic Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in data modeling and implementation of data warehouses and data lakes (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, S3, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, R, Java).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred).
• Previous experience working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
• English proficiency (written and spoken level B2).

We are also interested in

• Previous experience in the travel industry or similar sectors.
• Experience with data modeling in Qlik Cloud or other BI platforms.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts.
