Role purpose
The Cyber Security Tech Advisor is a seasoned professional who is responsible for specifying and designing solutions based on her/his technical expertise across security technology domains. Her/he will provide in-depth cyber security architecture and Design for Vodafone Business’ customers.
Her/he will have to support Customers in defining strategies to improve their level of maturity in cyber security, in adapting to existing and emerging regulations and in identifying, assessing and preventing Cyber risks. The individual in this position takes responsibility for the successful overall security solution for Vodafone Business Customers, building custom elements to meet a client’s business requirements.
The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and is able to apply them in a complex context to perform assessments and define remediation actions. Demonstrates the ability to thoroughly analyse Cyber Security problems for Vodafone Business Customers to identify the technology solutions and strategies to solve them effectively.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Provide direct support and consulting to Vodafone Business Solutions team in RFPs/answers for a call for tender.
- High level design (including cost evaluation) of security architectures.
- Designing technological solutions and validating solution design and security requirements within project
initiatives following a security by design approach.
- Scouting of technological security solutions.
- Define and validate security requirements.
- Carry out security assessments and define security strategies and evolutionary roadmaps in line with the main industry standards to support Business Customers.
- Manage the relationship with the partners necessary for the development of the project and the proposal.
- Working closely with Sales to ensure the successful closure of the sales process.
- Liaising with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience
Experience in dealing with large corporate customers in a solution design or consultancy role.
- Good knowledge of the main security infrastructures, cyber security governance issues, data protection and cyber & information security standards.
- Excellent knowledge of cyber security architectures such as NAC, NGFW, WAF, EDR, IAM, PAM, SIEM, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Cloud architectures, Network and IT Services and Technologies.
- Good knowledge of tender management and responses.
Must have technical / professional qualifications
A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced security certifications may be advantageous (ISO27001, ISO22301, CISM-Certified Information Security Manager, CISA-Certified Information Systems Auditor, CISSP-Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CEH, OPST ICS410, ICS/SCADA Security, ICS515: ICS Active Defence and Incident Response ISA62443).
- 5 or more years of experience in Information Security and IT Risk Management in leading companies and / or in leading consulting companies.
The profile is completed by excellent communication skills, precision, organizational autonomy and a marked orientation towards achieving results.
