In this role, the candidate will support Lean and Digital transformation in Florence manufacturing production lines related to Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbines, and Recips compressors Machining, and the Continuous Improvement roadmap in the Florence Plant.

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

As a Custom Stator Cell Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Cooperating with workshop & manufacturing engineering to increase asset management efficiencies through OEE & bottleneck review.
• Being a key role on projects to increase throughput and quality of the line, eliminate wastes & cost reduction, identify performance gaps and propose the most effective solutions.
• Reviewing & supporting workshop ideas implementation.
• Planning, scheduling, and implementing Business System Deployment to guarantee Kaizen activities.
• Developing breakthrough projects, coordinating with Cell leaders, Massa CI leaders & supporting COE Fabrication & Machining initiatives.
• Coordinating Lean and Digital Transformation, facilitating New Technology and Product Development in our Energy Transition journey.
• Managing VTC & Bowler Chart Target to Improve (TTI).
• Leveraging Florence experiences and best practices with other Baker Hughes CI leaders.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Production Process and Equipment equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate a team-building attitude.
• Show solid leadership experience gained in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma and use it to shape improvements and sustain performance.
• Have an operational excellence attitude and capability.
• Have a deep understanding of Process Safety and Health, Safety and Environmental.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization.
• Display a thorough and logical approach to proactively solving complex problems and implementing solutions.
• Be fluent in both Italian and English.
