Country Manager/Managing Director

TGRC are currently exclusively partnered with a leading European Solar/BESS IPP that is looking to appoint a Country Manager/Managing Director to head their Italian operations.

With over 2GW of operational assets and a 10GW development pipeline, the business is set for significant growth in 2025 and beyond.

This role will play a pivotal part in driving new business opportunities with local developers and overseeing the company’s greenfield development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the country representative for the development of large-scale solar PV projects

• Initiate and foster relationships with local developers, landowners, and other key stakeholders

• Lead the coordination of permits, grid connections, and other regulatory processes

• Build and manage a project team responsible for all stages of project development

Requirements:

• Over 10 years of experience in the development of large-scale PV projects

• Strong network and successful track record in Italy's solar energy sector

• Expertise in licensing, permitting, and managing commercial negotiations

• Ability to travel frequently within Italy and internationally

• Proficiency in Italian and English

• A background in renewable energy, engineering, business, law, or a related field
