Control Software Engineer

You'll be responsible for control algorithms and software development for Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine driven Compressor and Generator applications, Electric Motors, Reciprocating Compressors, and Turboexpanders. You'll work on activities relevant to Control Systems either for Customer projects or standardization tasks and validation of the relevant solution.

As a Control Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• developing Control System Software according to technical specifications including software coding, validation, and verification, to guarantee the overall control systems quality before site commissioning;
• analysing systematic and timely nonconformities (NCM/CCM) and attending technical meetings with Project Team, Customers, and Suppliers;
• creating and maintaining Control SW Libraries, fostering Control Systems Continuous Improvement process, implementing Lesson Learn (LL) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA);
• supporting New Product and New Technology introduction in the market, participating as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a MSc. in Computer Science, Automation, Electronic, Telecommunication or Automation Engineering
• Have 2/3 years of proven working experience in an engineering position for Control Algorithms and Software design
• Be proficient in industrial PLC programming languages and configuration tools. Sound knowledge of main industrial network communication protocols and standards and on control system algorithms design and dynamic systems models design.
• Display knowledge of Advanced Controls Techniques with focus on Model based Control
• Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others
• Be able to work in a multi-cultural team and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for short customer meetings and/or site/test bed support
• Be a good team player and display good communication skills with fluency in English
