Role: Company Site Representative

The Company Site Representative will be located in Colico, Italy, at the SPS contractor’s manufacturing facility, with focus on:
- Deep water SPS equipment fabrication and testing with focus on Choke, CIMV (CITV), Valve and Choke Actuators, Choke running tool and shipping basket. High level of QA/QC performance objectives.
- Work with a dynamic environment developing an important project for the E&P.
Activities
The position requires knowledge of SPS and UFR subsea deepwater systems. Under the responsibility of the SPS PACKAGE MANAGER, the Job Holder is responsible for:
- Managing the aspects related to manufacturing and testing of SPS equipment and tooling. This shall include all contractual, logistics, planning, quality, HSE and technical elements of the contracted work.
- Work by anticipation. To assess and to identify risks for the activities and manage associated mitigation actions at his/her level.
- With the spirit of values, to establish and manage his/her activities motivating his/her counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the projects.
- Keep all parties (as required) informed regarding ongoing activities status. To advise the SPS PACKAGE MANAGER on HSE and Quality related actions/decisions.
Reporting & Communication:
- Report regularly his progress to his direct management.
- Issue progress reports and study reports.
- Ensure confidentiality of all the documentation produced.
HSE
- Promote safety culture within the project and his/her activities. Lead by exemplarity to have the team members and colleagues adhering and contributing. To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to HSE rules and requirements.
- Ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the activities that he/she is managing or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on his activities.
- Promote observation reporting system and evaluate the HSE practices and skills of the workshop personnel. (Readily report anomalies and malpractices as well as positive observation on site).
- Supervising the day-to-day activities and witness the contractor’s / subcontractors’ activities.
- Ensure that Personnel, Equipment and Material are fit for purpose (i.e.: Training, medical, certification are up to date, etc).
Quality
- Ensure compliance of the activities with Project specifications, safety and environmental procedures.
- Monitor, instruct, correct and report the working practices of the contractor’s / subcontractors’ as necessary.
- Ensure strict compliance with COMPANY approved IP (ITP) and procedures.
- Ensure that CTR Performs periodic preservation checks of stored equipment in line with the equipment OMM.
- Advise contractor on improvement, return on experience and all issues regarding the work site.
- Ensure all relevant equipment RCA and NCR are raised accordingly and follow up on the closeout actions.
- Capture and Prepare REX (Return of Experience) and Lesson Learnt dossiers/presentations.
- Report of any equipment failure or damage.
Fabrication
- Participate in relevant meetings related to project reporting & progress, fabrication, operation and any other as needed.
- Ensure all relevant tools and equipment are maintained, calibrated and certified as required.
- Ensure the Tests, Inspections and MRBs are performed in accordance with the planning and release in due time.
- Participate in equipment failure investigations and Contractor’s RCA.
- Ensure all activities are properly prepared and documented.
- Manage of workshop to ensure activities and priorities are allocated in accordance with the project planning requirements.
- Produce regular internal manufacturing reports with schedule for all deliverables.
Logistics
- Ensure the SPS contractor equipment inventory is updated in line with the project requirements.
- Control of all project related activities as well as supervise any the Third party contracted by Company or Contractor.
Deliverables
All above, the service holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE rules and requirements.
- Fabrication and testing the SPS equipment.
- Respect & commit to the project planning.
- Reporting to SPS team & KPI Results.
- The service holder will participate in routine and random inspections/audits/tests, etc. for all SPS equipment.
- Work in close cooperation with the involved Project packages.
- Ensures an adequate reporting (areas of concerns, problems encountered in the implementation of the QC Inspection Plan by the Contractors).
- Ensure the timely delivery of the equipment as per PROJECT schedule.
- Ensure Final Documentation is delivered in a timely manner.
- Identify and highlight any major AOC to escalate the subject. Do propose solutions for the issues.
- Develop throughout the project deliverables relating to the management of his activities (e.g.: technical documents, contribution to reports, presentations, memorandum, REX, etc...)
Qualification/Experience Required
- Minimum of 10 years in the Oil & Gas Project in SPS manufacturing related matters.
- Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum engineering graduated or equivalent.
- Previous experience of auditing in a similar environment.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a QA/QC position.
- Problem solving mindset and solution driven attitude.
- Excellent Communication skills, dynamism, high motivation, “out-of-the-box” thinking and ability to convince.
- Fluent in English.
