Commercial Electrician

A commercial electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, lighting, and control systems, while adhering to safety standards and building codes.

Responsibilities

1. Maintenance:

   • Performing routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
   • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults and issues.
   • Performing safety checks on electrical units to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
   • Conducting regular check-ups and maintenance to anticipate and prevent potential electrical failures.

2. Installation:

   • Upgrading and replacing existing electrical systems.
   • Designing plans for new electrical installations.
   • Installing new electrical systems, wiring, conduits, and connection boxes according to blueprints and industry standards.
   • Running electrical wires through conduits (plastic or metal piping) to protect them.
   • Installing various electrical components like outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.

Note: this position is for a commercial electrician or electrical mechanic.
