Our client is specialized in providing smart, connected solutions for managing outdoor lighting and public infrastructure. They focus on integrating advanced technology to optimize the control, maintenance, and efficiency of lighting systems for businesses, sports parks, stadiums, and public spaces. Their solutions are designed to create safer and more sustainable urban environments by leveraging real-time information and automated systems.

Currently rapidly growing worldwide, they are looking for a Commercial Director to strengthen their Italian division.

Responsibilities

  1. As Commercial Director you will have the unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the ambition and growth of the company. You will bring the market in full view and go for the best match with the client!
  2. Your responsibilities will include all B2B deals that are made. Every day you are busy building strategic partnerships and looking for new strategic sales opportunities.
  3. You interact with the purchasing, finance, and logistics departments and strive to achieve the goals in terms of turnover and margin.
  4. After the sale, you make sure the clients remain satisfied by assuring top notch implementation and follow-up.
  5. You make sure to be the linking pin with the Italian organization and Dutch HQ.

Profile

  1. You have creative, innovative, and analytical skills with regard to (technical) questions, which you translate into solutions.
  2. You have at least extensive work experience in a similar position with a track record in developing new territories.
  3. You have excellent presentation, persuasive, and negotiating skills.
  4. You are very customer- and result-oriented and have good communication skills.
  5. You are also proactive, enterprising, and driven in the search for commercial solutions.
  6. You are representative and correct in dealing with people.
  7. You are fluent in Italian and English.
  8. Collegiality and empathy are also part of this.
  9. You are flexible and can work independently as well as in a team.
  10. Willingness to travel in Italy and occasionally to the HQ in the Netherlands.
