BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Support the Head of Merchandising Shoes & Accessories ensuring that the entire collection portfolio is developed consistently with the Brand Strategy/positioning, fulfilling customer and market requirements and meeting profitability goals while liaising with Style and other Functions within the entire organization.
Ensure a global consistency in buying yet managing a tailored assortment by market in order to guarantee the correct balance between the full representation of the brand image and the optimization of sales results.

In This Role, You Will
COLLECTION
Trends and Competitors analysis:
- Develop a clear understanding of competitors’ strategies, brand positioning, and pricing by collecting information from the luxury arena and markets.
- Collect and analyze strategic trends, key market qualitative information, as well as customer insights in order to identify and maximize future sales opportunities.
Collection structure and Guardaroba definition:
- Define the ideal collection price architecture.
- Support the Head of Merchandising in the definition of the collection grid (nr. SKU, Brand, Category, price point) and identification of the final collection editing.
- Liaise with Artistic Director to gather his selection of collection “Icons and Must haves.”
- Coordinate the development of the seasonal “drops” (number and size, deliveries, etc.) ensuring image/style consistency throughout all different categories as well as a proper response to commercial needs.
- Coordinate special merchandising projects working alongside with main stakeholders, Style and Visual Merchandising.
Collection presentation and Sales Campaign:
- Support the organization together with Collection Coordinators and Style the seasonal product briefing.
- During the buying campaign / after product briefing support markets on questions regarding occasion of use/collection segmentation.
RETAIL
Buying Coordination & Sales Campaign:
- Central buying (mandatory selection & global quantity indication) for Accessories category (SLLG, Belts, Textile Acc, Eyewear), HQ Capsule & Look image distribution.
- Support Markets to ensure consistency with buying guidelines during the buying campaign and before final submission.
- Discuss the entire buying with markets ensuring consistency and accuracy also based on “local” selection.
In season management:
- Support in the Ready to Market function (Seasonal Drop Launch Plan): timing, execution, results, improvements.
- Business monitoring by channel/markets/collection to optimize sales results and product flow among areas.
- Create a structured contact with markets to monitor the local situation and drive them in managing the business result.
- Periodic stock check and rebalances according to sales performances.

- At least 8 years of experience in a Fashion or Luxury company as a Retail/Collection Merchandiser, preferably with a focus on Accessories.
- University Degree in Economics or related field.
- Fluent in English, other languages are considered a plus.
- Data-driven approach and analytical mindset, complemented by curiosity and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong personal interest in the luxury business.
