As a Cloudera Administrator with Capgemini Engineering, you will be involved in projects related to the Telecoms & Media sector and will work within our Digital Engineering practice.

YOUR PROFILE

In this role you will play a key role in:

Cloudera Data Lake Administration:

• Platform stability assurance and monitoring
• OS and Applicative recovery support in case of system fault
• System dimensioning (computational resources/Storage/Networks)
• System reconfiguration in case of HW extension and/or replacement
• OS and Cloudera Software upgrades (at least 1 release per year)
• Cloudera SW vulnerabilities and patching management
• Access and permission management
• Installation of any other Cloudera application if needed
• Write a procedure on how to perform maintenance for platform maintenance handover

Data Engineering support:

• Design use cases e2e architecture, relying on Data Lake
• Perform data ingestion and lineage keeping harmonization with existing code
• Implement e2e rule-based use cases interacting with stakeholders (on machine learning)
• For machine learning use cases, support for models prototypes industrialization in Cloudera
• Support data scientists in python prototype translation to pyspark/Scala and code optimization on data lake
• Ensure E2E pipeline stability for already developed and future use cases

YOUR PROFILE

• Expertise and knowledge: HDFS, Kudu, Oozie, Impala, Hive, Cloudera Manager, Ranger, Hue

Nice to have:

• Java, Scala, Python and Pyspark as programming languages.
• Expertise in Kerberos, and in Linux as operating system.

Note: the resource must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the role.
