Job Description:

PeoItaly, a premier recruitment partner for top-tier engineering and construction companies, is currently seeking an Intermediate CSA Site Supervisor to join one of the most dynamic project teams in Italy. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge pharmaceutical construction projects across Europe, in a role that blends technical leadership, field supervision, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
2. Supervise subcontractors and site personnel, coordinating daily operations with a strong focus on HSE (Health, Safety, Environment).
3. Conduct quality inspections, review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and participate in Permit to Work (PTW) processes.
4. Monitor contractor compliance with HSE plans and escalate any non-conformities.
5. Act as liaison between site teams and the design office, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
6. Lead weekly project meetings, reporting on HSE, quality, progress, planning, cost, and open issues.
7. Track construction progress using site plans and ensure alignment with the overall execution strategy.
8. Foster a collaborative and compliant work environment in accordance with construction, safety, and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For

1. Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in site supervision roles.
3. Proven expertise in construction supervision within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector (API, secondary production, or R&D facilities preferred).
4. Fluency in Italian and English is required; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
5. Strong understanding of HSE standards, construction planning, and contractor management.
6. Proactive team player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Experience in managing projects across multiple offices or regions is a plus.

Technical Skills

1. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and Navisworks.
2. Solid knowledge of construction methodologies and site execution.
3. High awareness of safety protocols and commitment to regulatory compliance.
