Due to significant growth in this sector, WSP Italia is a new opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our Power & Energy team based in Rende (Cosenza) or Rome.

The successful candidate will join our multi-discipline and cross-national team supporting in the development of projects in the renewables sector.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in meaningful projects by applying engineering principles to routine assignments. You’ll perform specific portions of engineering tasks, compile and verify critical data, and contribute to designs, studies, and reports. By leveraging prescribed methods and using computer programs, you’ll deliver high-quality process deliverables while solving real-world challenges.

Collaboration and technical growth are key aspects of this role. You’ll coordinate your work with other technical personnel, assist in preparing material requisitions and specifications, and support the development of project controls documents. Along the way, you’ll refine your skills in calculations, simulations, and preliminary analyses, setting the stage for long-term career success.

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?

Are you passionate about geotechnical and structural engineering in renewable energy? This role offers the chance to work on projects like PV, AgroPV, and wind energy, applying expertise in ground improvement, foundation engineering, and regulatory standards. Using tools like Plaxis, Geostudio, and Civil3D, you’ll deliver high-quality designs while navigating Italy's renewable authorization process and constraint analysis.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, receiving guidance from senior engineers and contributing to calculations, road designs, and plant layouts. With a focus on safety, precision, and technical writing, this role helps you grow as a leader while solving complex challenges.
