Cisco Network Engineer - Bucharest, Romania,

Job description:

With the opening of a new NOC in downtown Bucharest, as part of our expansion in the European market, we are looking for a technician to design, implement and maintain our network infrastructure, which will be mostly based on Cisco equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network operations support.
2. Install, configure, operate and maintain network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls - mostly Cisco equipment).
3. Design and implementation of network infrastructure.
4. Implement and monitor network security, integrity, and IT security policies.
5. Development of network infrastructure solutions according to business requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Professional experience in networking, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies (Cisco ASR 1001-X and ISR 4000 series routers, Cisco Firewalls like the FPR 4110 and 5555-X along with FMC and Cisco ISE).
• Strong knowledge of internal and external BGP peering.
• Linux experience.

Bonus points for:

• Cisco certifications.
• Technical knowledge of various cloud technologies and cloud productivity applications.
• Prior involvement in large migration projects due to technology upgrades or company mergers.
• Previous datacenter experience.
• Fluency in English.
