More information on the role
As a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) you will:
- Oversee and coordinate all workstreams related to product development, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Lead the enhancement of Valueize’s products
- Define and execute the long-term tech vision in alignment with business goals
- Own and evolve the system architecture and infrastructure decisions
- Lead, grow, and mentor the engineering team (currently 5 members)
- Work closely with the CEO to scale the product and company
- Contribute directly to the codebase, especially in early stages
Desired Experience
- Proven experience as CTO or tech lead in the SaaS industry and within a startup (min 3+ years).
- Track Record of Building and Scaling Products
- Strong background with deep expertise in Python (FastAPI), React, Typescript, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Docker, MongoDB
- Solid understanding of scalable architectures, cloud infrastructure, and devops practices
- Leadership skills and experience managing remote engineering teams
- Product-oriented mindset and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally
- Previous experience in a startup or 0-to-1 product journey is a big plus
- Ability to think strategically while executing operationally.
Commitment and set up
- Full time
- Contract type: Freelancer contract
- Compensation: 3.5K-5K per month + potential equity + bonuses (based on experience)
- Time period: At least 9 months, with potential for extension and role growth.
- Location: Fully remote.
