The Chief steward is responsible to assist and enforce the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment. Main responsibilities include stewarding area’s operations and equipment maintenance.
The Chief steward oversees the OSE inventory management, taking stock of OSE and placing orders to replenish broken or lost items such as plates, glasses, spoons, knives, and cups. The stewarding manager works closely with the chefs to ensure that everything comes in on budget.
