Senior Business Development Manager

As a Senior Business Development Manager for a leading Quantum Computing Software Company, you will be working alongside world leading experts to build solutions that tackle real life issues. We look for passionate people that want to grow in an ethics driven environment, promoting sustainability and diversity.

This opportunity is to work in our offices in Milan, Italy. (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing six and seven-figure new logo deals within a given territory.
  • Leading new sales generation, developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.
  • Analysing sales performance data and implementing strategies for improvement.
  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis.
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Creating and leading advanced solution presentations to match identified customer needs using the company's products & services, identifying company advantages and positioning products and services as superior to competitive offerings.
  • Coordinating and organising technical support for demos, PoCs, support of evaluation, training, etc.
  • Working with team members to develop clear and effective written proposals, quotations, and value propositions for current and prospective customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: M.Sc./degree in sciences, engineering or similar.
  • 10+ years of business development experience in selling engineering/technology applications with a proven track record of success, exceeding required sales quota.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and with other functional teams (DEV, Marketing, PM, etc.).
  • Ability to foster collaboration & coordination with personnel distributed across multiple global sites.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine appropriate solutions for customers.
  • Native Italian, excellent English, any other language is a plus.
  • Travel: up to 50%.
