BIM Digital Construction Engineer

We are currently seeking a BIM Digital Construction Engineer, reporting directly to Construction System Manager (Program Manager) to join our CMC Construction Method Center, team based in Rome, Italy.

About the mission we offer you:

After a period of extensive training about all TEN construction platform, the Construction Engineer as member of an Agile Team, he/she follows a growing path:

1. At first he/she is involved in testing activities of new / enhanced features, writing and executing well-structured test plans and interacting with the team to de-bug the solution and grant it being robust and reliable.
2. As a second step, he/she evolves to the Product Owner role, being responsible of the Team Backlog for the application development, its deployment and usage by TEN projects.

The BIM Digital Construction Engineer will support projects performing the following main activities:

• Operate within an integrated BIM process focusing on the construction process management;
• Collect and analyze data with Business intelligence using Microsoft Power BI;
• Support the development team using the agile methodology to cover the business requirements;
• Support projects users ensuring smooth operation of the application enabling projects to conduct their business. Interface with users to understand needs, clarifying requirements and estimate efforts for new development or bug resolution.

In particular his/her duties are the following:

• Analysis of the requirements and contribution to definition of new work process or modification of the existing processes;
• Produce detailed functional specification answering business requirements;
• Collaborate with their agile team to detail and plan user stories with acceptance criteria within the backlog;
• Participate in agile team meetings for program backlog refinement and preparation before the Program Increment planning event;
• Assist the team on daily basis, providing the necessary clarifications to define the story estimates and sequencing;
• Communication, demonstration and promotion of new solutions using new/existing design tools.

Qualifications: Degree in Engineering (preference for civil and mechanical engineering) or equivalent level of experience.

Languages: English fluent.

Main Skills:

• Keen on working with data and data driven process;
• You have a pro-active attitude, a creative mind and you like working in teams, but can also work independently;
• A passion and enthusiasm for Technology;
• Very good oral and writing skills (English);
• Availability to international mobility either for short- or long-term assignment.

Technical Competencies:

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Basic knowledge of 3D BIM tool such as: Navisworks, Tekla, Autocad 3D;
• Basic knowledge in Power BI (Dax and M) and SQL.
