Position
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to final delivery. Specifically, the following activities will be carried out:
- Works as direct interface to EPC organization in Germany
- Sets minimum requirements for an EPC Organization and cross-functional EPC team in Italy and Germany
- Drives process to define a suitable and working DOR (gmbh -IT) as well as developing a RACI matrix
- Identifies key resources in BEL Italy organization for EPC business
- Reporting line to SD PM&C / technical leadership - disciplinary lead / only organizational leadership Italian Organization payroll office etc.
- Day-to-day organization and interfacing as well as reports to Deputy Director Project Management & Construction in Germany
- Involvement in EPC Sales up to EPC Delivery
- Staffing of EPC team aligned with SD PM&C + Board of BEL Italy
- Works with clients and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and technical and functional requirements
- Develops a detailed project plan, establishing key phases, deadlines, and the responsibilities of each team member
- Collaborates closely with the engineering team and other specialists to ensure that project phases are executed in line with the planned schedule
- Constantly monitors project progress to ensure deadlines are met
- Manages the project's financial aspects, ensuring that expenses remain within the assigned budget
- Conducts regular cost checks and identifies opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or delivery timelines
- Manages any financial adjustments or budget updates based on changes in requirements or timelines
- Provides regular reports on the project's progress, including technical and non-technical matters, with updates on risks, deadlines, and costs
- Ensures that projects are completed within the set deadlines, meeting the required costs and quality standards
- Oversees the final stages of the project, including the installation and testing of the photovoltaic system
- Manages the project's closure, including the final review of results and completion of documentation
Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience with a strong electrical and/or engineering background in the photovoltaic field
- Excellent skills in using MS Office products
- Strong proficiency in English (minimum C1 level)
