Who we are

We are Dymension Space, a fast-growing Apulian start-up building the next-generation software for spacecraft design. Our mission is to revolutionise how spacecrafts and any complex systems are conceived and designed.

Ever heard about Model-Based Systems Engineering? We are working with the European Space Agency at the ESA Business Incubation Center in Brindisi to make this methodology easy and accessible for all new space companies.

Role description

We are looking for a Back-End Developer who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and high-performance systems that power our innovative SaaS platform. In this role, you will have a key impact on shaping the architecture and development of our future platform. You will collaborate closely with our CEO, CTO, our Head of Back-End Development, and front-end developers to ensure seamless integration, efficiency, and performance optimization.

Given our startup environment, we embrace an agile and iterative development process. You will be involved in every stage, from conceptualization to deployment, continuously improving our technology and infrastructure based on user needs and feedback.

Although our work is remote-first, candidates based in Puglia enjoy the added benefit of easier in-person meetups and strategy sessions, which are instrumental for aligning our vision and accelerating growth.

Requirements

1. Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
2. Experience with WebFlux and reactive programming
3. Strong DevOps knowledge, including Docker and Kubernetes
4. Familiarity with cloud environments and scalable architectures
5. Fluent in English and Italian
6. Experience in fast-paced environments is preferred
