Automation/Senior Engineer

Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers, we are now looking for an Automation / Senior Engineer 27092.

For one of our clients, we are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEED project consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work, and interface to several contractual interfaces. You will have the opportunity to develop your own skills within engineering of Automation systems, working with the SAS system design.

Job Responsibilities:

1. System Design, interface and follow up of Safety and Automation System as appointed by automation team lead
2. Specification of Global SAS system design through modification work, new system design and contractual interfaces
3. Review of SAS technical documentation
4. Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
5. Follow-up and participation in Hardware and Software design
6. Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and client
7. Offshore survey may be required

Your Experience and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor or higher
2. Minimum 10 years' experience from automation engineering in green field projects
3. Minimum 6 years' experience from automation and SAS system design, including SAS/automation network solutions.
4. Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
5. Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English - both orally and in writing
6. Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
7. Ability to work independently as well as in a team
8. Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
9. Proactive, seeking advice and sharing own experiences with others

Required Certificates:

1. FSE-course, valid through the engagement
2. Ex-course, valid through the engagement
