The researcher will be responsible for the design and development of a system for the automation of plant/atmosphere gas exchange measurements in relation to data collected and processed from the technical-scientific bibliography of the sector. The research will focus on both purely engineering aspects of measurement hardware setup and the agronomic relevance of these measurements. Additionally, it will involve aspects of numerical data processing from industry databases to identify fields of application for the measurements and to implement models for the simulation of the obtained measurements.
Previous experience in the design of measurement automation systems applicable to plants is required. Furthermore, knowledge of the main methods of analysis of the water/carbon dioxide gas exchange between plants and the atmosphere is essential.
