Mode Search is partnering with a prestigious premium fashion brand to find an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership of its Milan boutique. This globally recognised brand is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, timeless style, and dedication to customer experience.

As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, supporting team development, and ensuring seamless store operations. This role requires a proactive and commercially focused leader with a passion for premium retail and client relationship management.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience, developing and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Lead by example with a strong presence on the sales floor, coaching and mentoring the team to exceed sales targets.
• Implement clienteling strategies, proactively engaging with customers through outreach, email, and follow-ups.
• Ensure the store meets and exceeds KPIs and business objectives, leveraging company training tools and sales techniques.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock management.
• Partner with the Store Manager to execute recruitment, training, and performance development plans.
• Oversee the integrity of payroll processes and store financials, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that all store activities reflect the brand’s identity and values.
• Step in to manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring business continuity.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a premium or luxury retail management role, ideally as an Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor.
• A sales-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Strong expertise in clienteling and building relationships with high-value customers.
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
• Knowledge of retail operations, KPIs, and performance analytics.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, ensuring efficient stock and operational management.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
