The role
We are looking for a talented Area Manager to join our growth journey and manage our wholesale activities in the southern European areas, with a particular focus on Italy. As an Area Sales Manager, you will have a key role in the company and act as a brand ambassador. Our ideal candidate has a strong network, a good knowledge of the market and its dynamics and is able to drive sales to meet seasonal budget in order to positively grow our brands Rotate & Remain in the focus area.
We are looking for someone with a solid wholesale experience and would be able to work strategically within the sales team to implement creative solutions to drive sales. The candidate will report to our Head of Sales and will be based in full-remote from Milan, with regular travels to the head-quarter in Copenhagen as well as to Paris during the selling campaigns.
Primary tasks/responsibilities
- Develop and grow the Southern European markets with existing and new key accounts.
- Maintain and enhance customer relations through customer visits.
- Realize revenue targets and achieve continuous growth.
- Analyze sell-through reports and transform insights into actions.
- Conduct staff trainings both digitally and physically across the region.
- Prepare sales budgets together with the Head of Sales.
- Participate in four annual sales campaigns from Copenhagen and Paris.
- Prepare sales material before the sales campaign.
Experience
- 3 (or more) years of wholesale experience in a similar position in the European market is required, more areas are a plus.
- Dedicated, thorough and structured, able to work alone and in a team when necessary.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment, proactive mindset.
- Able to succeed in a position with variation in working hours and periods of travel, flexibility is key.
- Creative thinker and strategic planner.
- Strong analytical skills in order to turn data into active knowledge.
- Strong communicator and negotiator.
- Strong social skills and outgoing personality, with a solid network in the fashion industry in southern European countries, Italy in particular.
- Fluent Italian and English, third language among Spanish and French is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft package is required, with a particular focus on excel. Knowledge of Joor is a plus.
