Area Sales Manager Nord Italia - Electronic Security

What you will do:

This is an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (account) to be a part of a very close-knit team to grow within Johnson Control Security Division, working with our industry-leading portfolio of established products. The ideal candidate is open-minded, targeting both key customers with innovative solutions and opening doors with proposals suitable for vertical markets. The candidate will be the JCI point of contact for our existing customer base and future customers.

How you will do it:

  • Prospect new customers in the Italian market and contribute to profitable growth in the region.
  • Organize your own prospection and agenda autonomously, reporting in our Salesforce customer relationship software.
  • Promote our products through presentations or demonstrations, explaining the advantages of our intrusion solutions.
  • Participate in events such as exhibitions and may organize training sessions for our products both on customer sites and remotely.
  • Keep customers informed of the latest solutions and new products.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  • Work closely with your Regional Sales Manager to implement actions and tools necessary for sales development.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with other departments, Regional Business Manager, and staff to support business development and retention.

What we look for:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position within commercial business.
  • Proven track record of selling technical products in the Security Market.
  • In-depth knowledge of the electronic security market.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office platform.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Home-based, preferably living in Northern Italy.
  • Experience selling in a B2B sales environment.
  • Sales activity experience using social media.
  • Knowledge of the smart home market.
  • Experience using tools like Microsoft Teams or similar for webinars and remote customer report management.
  • Sales experience in technology, consumer electronics, and services.
  • Experience in an international workplace.
  • Graduate.

Workplace:

Home Office based in Northern Italy, with a willingness to travel up to 75% of working time, linked to the northern Italian market.
