Within the area of Large Credit Underwriting, the position will provide the opportunity to a highly motivated and very experienced colleague to be part of a skilled team which is the sole CRO Group Center of Competence for all Structured Finance-Special Products Transactions of UniCredit Group.
Transactions/products include all types of Securitisations (customer-related and UCG-own transactions, ABS, MBS, CLO, etc.), Structured Working Capital Solutions, Structured Credit Products, Non-recourse Margin Lending, Repackaging Transactions via Multi-Purpose Vehicles and other transactions as per CRO allocation.
Main tasks:
- Analysis of new and existing SF/SP transactions in close cooperation with business units and other internal units including:
- Analysis of portfolio and performance data (including modelling if appropriate);
- Analysis of transaction structure and involved parties from a risk point of view (including due diligence and other customer visits / presentations as appropriate for risk management).
- Preparation of credit requests and presentation to the respective approval authority / approval in accordance with assigned personal credit approval authority reflecting the senior character of the position.
- Setting of internal ratings and ensuring their ongoing accuracy by applying applicable rating methodologies.
- Implementation / verification of transaction approval terms and conditions in legal documentation.
- Authorization of credit facilities and relevant data input in the bank's systems and subsequent monitoring.
- Monitoring of transaction performance and compliance on an ongoing basis as well as management of assigned portfolio within portfolio guidelines and strategy (including implementation of appropriate steering signals).
Additional Requirements:
- Profound and throughout the cycle senior securitisation product and risk analysis expertise.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and analyse complex financial structures and discuss corresponding models and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - work well and cooperate with others (team player).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as to form and express own views.
- Languages: Fluent English and Italian, orally and in writing. German beneficial but not a must.
- IT Skills: MS Office with profound Excel / PowerBI knowledge, Intex.
