AI & Cloud Solution Architect

RINA is currently recruiting for an AI & Cloud Solution Architect to join its office in Genoa or Rome (Italy) within the Global IT Strategy & Architecture Division.

Mission

Your mission will be focused on defining enterprise and application architectures to ensure effectiveness and security compliance. You will play a crucial role in shaping the technology landscape to drive innovation and digital transformation within the organization.

Key Accountabilities

• Contribute to the design of technology architecture and solutions.
• Evaluate the architecture of enterprise applications and Embedded AI proposed by vendors.
• Support in defining architectural guidelines and AI governance framework.
• Support the definition and implementation of IT strategy with a focus on AI, Cloud and Digital Transformation.
• Support in defining guidelines for application lifecycle management.
• Stay abreast of advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science to continuously innovate and improve solutions.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand and fulfill the AI needs of the organization.
• Lead IT projects aimed at modernizing and enriching the overall IT ecosystem.
• Ensure that projects, applications and AI solutions are consistent and compliant with applicable standards and policies.
• Identify any IT system constraints that could impact the overall solution.
• Collaborate closely with Cyber Security and Operational teams to ensure projects meet stringent security and infrastructure requirements, respectively.
• Collaborate with system integrators to integrate AI capabilities into software and systems.

• Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Bachelor’s Degree

• 4-5 years of solid experience in IT architecture design or IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex initiatives.
• Hands-on experience in web application development, demonstrating a strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple workflows and projects across different IT departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.

• Cloud computing (especially MS Azure).
• Modern architectural patterns (SOA, microservices).
• Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD tools and release automation (Azure DevOps).
• Best practices for software quality (ISO27001) and GDPR.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of infrastructures and systems.
• Application security and 'Security by Design' approach in development.
• Knowledge of Data Architecture and governance.
• Knowledge of Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and various AI techniques.
• Experience in designing AI applications and knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
