Job Description:

Italgas S.p.A., a leader in the natural gas distribution sector, is seeking:

Distribution Operators in Lombardia and Veneto.

The candidates will be engaged in the following activities:

1. Support first response activities, such as: searching and repairing gas leaks (both underground and aerial pipelines) according to company procedures;
2. Assist in data entry and registration from various sources (users, instruments, equipment, company records); logical or arithmetic processing of the data; database management;
3. Support the activation and/or modification of User Supply Connection (IDU), gas installations, and network extensions;
4. Perform pressure testing for IDU activation/reactivation;
5. Support field operational activities;
6. Notify users of meter changes; scheduled works on specific days and/or times that result in gas outages;
7. Assist in connecting street pipelines or underground connections;
8. Support the connection of new reduction plants for methane gas;
9. Assist in the replacement of pipelines and street connections;
10. Support the placement, removal, and replacement of meters;
11. Monitor and manage the use and recovery of materials from the warehouse for fieldwork;
12. Support the verification of meters and installations with possible safety measures and/or reporting of any evident anomalies.

We are looking for candidates who have obtained a diploma as a surveyor or technician (preferably mechanical) not more than 3 years ago and possess the following characteristics: knowledge and use of social networks and understanding of digital technologies.

Requirements include a good knowledge of the Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Access) and CAD systems; IT knowledge of SAP systems; good command of the English language; a valid type B driving license and willingness to travel nationally. Additional desirable traits include teamwork skills, problem-solving abilities, curiosity, initiative, and proactivity.

The candidate will be engaged in qualified activities or specialized tasks performed individually or in teams, as well as automated activities in information systems.

Work Locations: Viadana (MN), Desenzano (BS), Roana (VI)

Italgas S.p.A. offers – depending on age and experience – direct hiring with a three-year apprenticeship contract or a permanent contract (for more information about the company visit Italgas).
