Allegiance Industries is a full-service electrical contractor serving the commercial, industrial, and retail markets in the southeast United States. We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction, electrical, or engineering industry, with a solid understanding of key accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, billable hours, change orders, and working with vendors. They should also be comfortable collaborating with internal project managers and leaders to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of our electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and record billable hours for ongoing projects, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Process and manage change orders, ensuring all adjustments are accurately reflected in project records.
• Assist in pulling and tracking permits necessary for project execution.
• Work with external vendors to ensure timely deliveries, resolve issues, and maintain accurate vendor records.
• Work closely with internal project managers and leadership teams to align financial tracking with project goals and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring that all transactions are properly documented and filed.
• Utilize Excel or internal software systems to track data, generate reports, and assist with financial management tasks.

• Previous experience in a construction, electrical, or engineering firm is preferred.
• Strong understanding of billable hours, change orders, and general accounting practices.
• Proficient in Excel or similar accounting software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• AA in Accounting is a plus but not required.
