The Role

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing valuable financial insights to support the company's financial health. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

• Financial Reporting according to the German Commercial Code (HGB)

• A bachelor's degree in accounting
• 5 plus years experience in a similar role
• E-Commerce experience essential
• Familiarity with general accounting practices as well as German accounting regulations and systems.
• Familiar with German Commercial Code (HGB) and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP Next is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing skills); knowledge of further languages (German) is a plus.
