Offer Description

The researcher will focus his/her research on topics consistent with SSD ECON-06/A, with particular reference to public administrations, and more specifically on the following topics:

1. Public Administrations funding system;
2. Public-private partnerships in public administration/health organisations;
3. Impact assessment in public and nonprofit administrations;
4. The managerial function in health care organisations;
5. The use of big data in the decision-making processes in public administration/health care organisations.

The research activity will be targeted to produce publications in prestigious international contexts, including journals, book chapters, and conferences. It will also be relevant in the third mission activities, particularly towards public administrations that have shown interest in and need for expertise in the aforementioned topics.

The tenure-track researcher will be assigned to teach a subset of the CFU of the sector not covered by tenured personnel. Teaching may include lectures, tutorials, support in any other forms of student instruction, grading and evaluation of papers, and evaluation of final exams, on the subjects and topics covered by the contract. Teaching for up to 120 hours is required, according to university regulations.
