Offer Description

The position is permanent. The scientific field, for research and teaching, is Criminal Law.

Requested research duties: The researcher will carry out research within the thematic area defined by the present call: criminal law. The activity will be carried out in accordance with the scientific lines of research to be defined by the Department.

Requested teaching duties: In accordance with the annual teaching programme, the teaching activity shall concern the development of courses in the subject area covered by the call for applications within the three-year degree programmes, single-cycle Master's degree programmes and doctoral programmes offered at the Faculty of Law, as well as in postgraduate training programmes. It will also include lecturing in Italian and in English on topics related to the research activity carried out, as well as frontal or equivalent teaching activities, to the extent defined by the University regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

The following people may apply for the position advertised here:

1. Candidates who have obtained national scientific qualification (“A.S.N.”), pursuant to art. 16 of Law no. 240/2010, for the academic recruitment field 12/G1 corresponding to the discipline group covered by the announcement and for the functions covered by the procedure, or for higher functions provided they are not already holders of the same higher functions;
2. Candidates who are declared suitable by the Academic Qualifications Procedure, as per law no. 210/1998, for the academic discipline included in the academic recruitment field 12/G1, and for the level corresponding to the position advertised in the selection procedure, or for a higher academic level, as long as they do not hold the position, for the period in which the suitability remains valid;
3. Professors already working at other universities at the level corresponding to that of the selection procedure;
4. Academics working at universities abroad in teaching or research work at an academic level equal to the level of the position advertised in the selection procedure, on the basis of the table comparing Italian academic positions with positions abroad as defined by the Ministry in Ministerial Decree no. 456/2023.
5. Participation in the procedure is open to candidates external to the University, defined by art. 18, paragraph 4, of Law 240/2010 as “those who in the last three years have not served as full tenured professor, tenured associate professor, permanent researcher, fixed-term researcher as per article 24, paragraph 3, letters a) and b), or have not been holders of 'Assegni di ricerca', or enrolled in university courses at University of Trento.
