Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Instructional Design, or a related field.
Position Overview
As a Storyboarding Artist, you will translate instructional content into visual storyboards for video shoots, instructional videos, and eLearning modules.
You’ll collaborate with instructional designers, graphic artists, editors, and developers to ensure clarity, flow, and learner engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Storyboard Development: Create detailed, structured storyboards from video scripts. Develop sketches, scene layouts, and compositions to guide animation teams. Align visuals with instructional objectives.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers to turn content into visual narratives. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and refine storyboards.
Enhancing Learner Engagement: Emphasize clear, step-by-step skill demonstrations. Apply visual storytelling to boost user understanding. Propose creative ideas to enhance immersion.
Quality Control & Adaptation: Ensure storyboards accurately represent real-world skill training. Revise based on usability testing and learner input. Maintain version control and proper documentation.
Experience
0–2 yrs in eLearning/animation storyboarding; proficient in Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator; strong visual storytelling; basic 3D/Unity; good sketching; motion graphics and ID knowledge a plus.
