Senior Research Scientist-R&D

1. Evaluate the technology provided by innovator w. r. t. feasibility, cost, quality, safety and timelines
2. Access the commercial viability, considering our infrastructure
3. Provide technical inputs in freezing the requests for proposal (RFP)
4. Generate Consumption Coefficients and costing of the Raw Material for external as well as internal technologies
5. Coordinate with all the cross functional team to provide the best quote to client
6. Regular calls with the clients to clear droughts if any
7. Designing the synthetic scheme for given target.
8. Generating POC for given target.
9. Carries out various research experiments on the bench scale assisted by Research Associates, Research Assistants and Team Members and reports the results regularly to reporting manager.
10. Visualize the developmental needs for the product.
11. Understand the safety and environmental aspect.
12. Solve the problems and queries related to the development of the product and discuss them with the HOD/reporting manager.
13. Anticipate the problems may arrive during Scale-up and solve it proactively.
14. Understand the scalability of the chosen process, in coordination with TSD and Production.
15. Analyze the product strategy, efficiency, working relations and cross functional issues in PDG.
16. Keep the reporting manager well informed about the experiments and their results by maintaining the lab journal/documents well and delivering technical presentations.
17. Technology Transfer for new project to Production plant.
18. Keep the work area clean and the laboratory under controlled temperature.
19. Stay updated with current literature and techniques related to process chemistry.
20. Ensure compliance to Hazardous waste and chemical management.
21. Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective preventive Actions immediately.
