Role Description
The Senior Business Management Analyst provides professional, timely advice and guidance to managers and their teams at DWS COO, on specific functional subject areas and consistent with the Bank’s strategy, ensuring adherence to DWS policy and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks. Candidate / Applicant collaborates with colleagues within their function, and more broadly, to implement appropriate Workforce Management processes and controls, in line with DWS strategy. Delivers appropriate solutions to meet the needs of their assigned Division/Business Unit, and promotes and supports implementation of cross-divisional initiatives. Provide coverage for DWS COO Division (All regions) and remain responsible for advising on their areas of expertise.

Your key responsibilities
- Ability to constructively challenge senior colleagues, ask for clarity on business cases presented, and guide them through Workday Workflows and processes
- Support FTE forecast and planning processes, including relevant explains and analysis, interacting with the business/COO teams as necessary.
- Assist with the Cost and FTE movements which will help the COO and Management team to achieve financial targets and maintain a sharp cost discipline.
- Conduct various ad-hoc analysis and address issues that are complementary to the regular planning and forecasting processes.
- Other COO/Performance management tasks as necessary
- FTE/Headcount Management, including maintenance of hiring pipeline, Workday related activities (raising requests, positions approvals, movements tracking, liaising with central team on approvals)
- Regular tracking of permanent hires, Externals and providing inputs to Central HR team
- Updating reporting lines, Functional Role Titles and other related Workday changes for COO Employees based on guidance from HR/COO Management team
- Monthly / Quarterly PO validation process, in line with onshore stakeholders and Finance team
Your skills and experience
- Academic qualifications in Business, Finance or related field
- Prior relevant work experience of 4-5 years
- Experience in Workforce Management (Workday), Business Performance Analysis, Financial Analysis
- Aptitude for analytical tasks and ability to derive and present key messages
- Strong MS-Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong communication skills with excellent English, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of the financial sector
- Good To Have: Worked on automation tools like Tableau, Power BI, Power Query
