Internal Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible to manage vendor invoice booking within defined KPI timeline.
• Will ensure proper documents are in place before remitting the money.
• Advance to vendors if any are adjusted appropriately.
• Will ensure appropriate tax deduction (TDS) are applied as per Income Tax rules.
• Ensure that supplier and expense accounts reflect properly approved and supported transactions consistently.
• Ensure that supplier accounts are reconciled on a regular basis by taking balance confirmations.
• Ensure that the company’s and local policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, are complied with.
• Performs Month end closing activities, e.g., accruals.
• Ensure Compliance and Internal Control standards are met as per SOPs.
• To work with auditors and provide the required information and documentation and ensure that there is no negative remark in audits.
• To handle queries of vendors and internal stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language

• Should possess knowledge of Accounting, Tax, Control, and the implication in financial statement.
• Understanding of Sanofi/Opella end to end S2V processes and compliances.
• Well-versed of withholding tax and foreign remittance processes.
• Good communication skills.
• Quick response time and tech savvy.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Master’s degree in Commerce/ Accounting / Finance / Business Administration.
• 5+ years’ experience in an Accounting / Accounts Payable role.
• Sanofi/Opella experience will be an added advantage.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
