Job Description

The R&D Executive is responsible for driving innovation, developing new products, improving existing products, and optimizing processes in line with organizational goals. The role requires conducting technical research, analyzing product feasibility, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Development:
   • Conduct research and feasibility studies for new product concepts.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes and validate product performance.
   • Design and execute product trials, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Technical Analysis and Design:
   • Perform practical analysis of product performance, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
   • Develop 3D designs and technical drawings using CAD software.
   • Create and test fixtures, molds, and specialized tools as required for product development.
3. Process Optimization:
   • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
   • Standardize procedures to reduce production time and minimize errors.
4. Project Management:
   • Plan and manage R&D projects, setting clear objectives, timelines, and milestones.
   • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budget and time constraints.
   • Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for management review.
5. Vendor and Outsourcing Coordination:
   • Source and liaise with vendors for materials, tools, and specialized services.
   • Oversee product outsourcing processes, ensuring alignment with design and quality requirements.
6. Testing and Quality Control:
   • Develop and implement product testing procedures to assess performance, durability, and safety.
   • Analyze test data, document findings, and recommend design modifications as needed.
7. Documentation and Compliance:
   • Maintain comprehensive records of research activities, design changes, and test results.
   • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and company policies.
8. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
   • Propose innovative solutions and improvements to enhance product competitiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Biomedical, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in R&D, product development, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory standards is preferred.
