Relationship Manager

Role & responsibilities

The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with individual or corporate clients to meet their banking needs. This includes selling banking products, offering financial advice, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

• Client Acquisition & Retention:
  
• Acquire new customers through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  
• Manage a portfolio of high-value clients and ensure client satisfaction.
  
• Sales & Business Development:
  
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking products such as savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment products.
  
• Achieve sales targets set by the bank.
  
• Financial Advisory:
  
• Provide financial advice to clients based on their individual needs and financial goals.
  
• Promote investment and insurance products in line with client profiles.
  
• Customer Service:
  
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure service excellence.
  
• Conduct periodic account reviews and recommend upgrades or new products.
  
• Compliance & Risk Management:
  
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, KYC, AML regulations, and all legal and regulatory requirements.
  
• Monitor customer accounts for unusual activity and report risks as necessary.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• 2+ years of experience in banking, sales, or relationship management.
  
• Strong knowledge of banking products and financial markets.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
