Role & Responsibilities:

• As Project Leader III, you will lead, design, and qualify products for Thermo Fisher products which are globally manufactured and help to reduce the cost, driving design standardization across sites.
• As part of a multi-functional team, your major responsibility will include leading high sophisticated projects in the capacity of a Program Manager.
• Strong design knowledge and exposure towards global qualification standards.
• Ensure that assigned projects are delivered timely, to specification, and at or below targeted cost through solid engineering plans, including quality, cost, schedule, and risk assessment. Report on project progress.
• Approach problems in a rational manner and with outstanding tools to ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.
• Help the team to grow technical depth and build proficiency across product lines.
• Promote an environment of learning, coordinate technical training, address and fill technical gaps, and help to build up the technical pipeline.
• Efficiently collaborate with sourcing, operations, quality, service, and global R&D teams, as well as external suppliers, vendors, and customers.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis and finalize annualized savings for given projects.
• Perform VAVE study and identify cost-out opportunities which are quality neutral.
• Drive product cost analysis, benchmarking, value analysis & value engineering independently.
• Deliver $1M cost savings in a calendar year.
