Job Title: Production Support

Function/Department: Information Technology

Job Purpose
The role entails the responsibility of providing production support to the bank's software applications. It includes administering and resolving day-to-day production application issues, providing updates, and performing root cause analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Perform all tests on production applications.
2. Work on Ameyo dialer or any outbound dialer.
3. Knowledge of recording, Postgre SQL, Linux, VoIP IP telephony.
4. Design production support procedures, policies, and documentation.
5. Identify and resolve technical issues.
6. Establish the root causes of production errors, and escalate serious concerns.
7. Prepare recovery procedures for all applications and provide upgrades to the same.
8. Coordinate with IT groups and external vendors to ensure effective application services and reliability of all applications.
9. Gather information independently, carry out necessary research, and provide in-depth analysis to resolve production issues.
10. Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively.
11. Deliver regular and customized training to teams within the business.
12. Develop test scripts for new/changed production application capabilities.
13. Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the team.
14. Stay abreast of global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets.
15. Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications

Graduation: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Post-Graduation: Master of Science (M.Sc) / Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Experience: 3 to 5 years.
