Project Overview:

A management and billing processes across various print facilities using Oracle ERP 12.1.3. The goal of this migration is to centralize operations into Oracle ERP, replacing disparate systems at different locations. As part of this transition, we seek an experienced Oracle ERP Migration Technical Consultant who will play a crucial role in the migration and configuration process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ERP Migration: Lead and manage the migration of data from various ERP systems to Oracle 12.1.3, focusing on the inventory management and billing modules.
2. Data Analysis & Mapping: Collaborate with functional teams to extract data from source systems. Map and transform this data into Oracle ERP structure while maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
3. Oracle ERP Configuration: Configure Oracle ERP based on plant-specific requirements, ensuring alignment with business processes and operational goals.
4. Customization & Development: Customize Oracle ERP screens, reports, and workflows to cater to plant-specific needs. Create any necessary customizations using Oracle tools and technologies.
5. Data Loading Tools: Utilize Oracle's data loading tools (e.g., Oracle SQL*Loader, Data Pump, etc.) to upload and migrate large volumes of data into the Oracle ERP system.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams (e.g., finance, operations) to understand their needs and ensure the ERP migration meets business requirements.
7. Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform testing to ensure the data migration is accurate and the system configurations are functioning as intended.
8. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation throughout the migration process, including technical details of the migration steps, configuration changes, and issue resolutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP, particularly in versions 12.1.3 or similar.
2. ERP Migration Expertise: Proven track record of successful ERP migrations, specifically moving data from other ERP systems into Oracle ERP.
3. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Oracle ERP data structures, definitions, and functionalities, particularly in the Inventory Management and Billing modules.
4. Data Mapping & Transformation: Experience with data mapping, data transformation, and data loading techniques using Oracle tools (SQL*Loader, Data Pump, etc.).
5. Customization & Configuration: In-depth knowledge of customizing Oracle ERP screens, workflows, and reports to meet specific business needs.
6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve data migration issues and ensure smooth system configuration.
7. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and functional teams.
8. Certifications (Optional): Oracle ERP certifications or relevant industry certifications will be a plus.

Desirable Skills:

1. Cross-Plant Knowledge: Familiarity with managing ERP systems for multiple locations or plants, with varying needs or configurations.
2. SQL & PL/SQL: Experience with writing SQL queries and PL/SQL for data extraction, migration, and custom reports.
3. Integration Experience: Experience integrating Oracle ERP with other systems (legacy ERP, third-party applications) is highly desirable.
