Position Title: Operating Partner

Location: Delhi

Requirement: Minimum of 12+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within [TMT, Banking, Insurance sectors] in Big Three (management consultancies)


Position Summary: The Operating Partner will play a critical role in the turnaround, strategy, and operational development of our portfolio companies. This individual will work closely with executive teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop and implement strategies, and ensure sustainable growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in turning around companies and optimizing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the performance of portfolio companies (India Business).
    Collaborate with senior management to identify growth opportunities and areas for operational improvement.
    Provide strategic insights and guidance to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  2. Turnaround Management:
    Lead turnaround initiatives for underperforming portfolio companies.
    Assess and restructure business operations to enhance efficiency and profitability.
    Implement cost-saving measures and drive financial performance improvements.
    Digital transformation & technology implementation.
  3. Operational Development:
    Oversee the development and optimization of operational processes and systems.
    Implement best practices in operations management to drive efficiency and productivity.
    Ensure effective supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics operations.
  4. Performance Monitoring:
    Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and measure success.
    Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to management teams.
    Utilize data analytics to drive informed decision-making.
  5. Stakeholder Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders effectively.
    Ensure alignment of goals and objectives across all levels of the organization.
  6. Team Development:
    Mentor and develop management teams within portfolio companies.
    Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
    Ensure the right talent is in place to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/MBA from Tier 1 Colleges in India
  • Proven experience in turnaround management and operational development.
  • Strong strategic planning and implementation skills.
  • Extensive experience in managing and improving business operations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within [TMT, Banking, Insurance sectors] in Big Three (management consultancies).
  • Demonstrated success in turning around companies.
  • Experience in managing multi-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and profitability.
