Role Overview

As a member of the Network Firewall Services (product-oriented team), the successful candidate will be responsible for the support, development, design, planning, and management of Firewall infrastructure across all regions and different environments (Azure, AWS, on-prem).

The role involves detailed design/maintenance of firewall infrastructure, with cooperation of security and compliance teams. As part of the job, it is also necessary to maintain/prepare FW API integration with our internally developed Automation or with 3rd party.

What will you do in this role

Support/maintain Firewall infrastructure (plus Lifecycle, Assets history).
Design and deploy the architecture that supports the operated services.
Develop plans for enhancement/new service onboarding and effectively communicate new capabilities to security/compliance or other architecture teams (Cloud, DC, Manufacturing).
Prepare and execute integration firewall services to other products (DC, Cloud) with close cooperation and coordination with Tier 2 Operations.
Cooperate with the DEV part of the team on automations (API recommendation, requirements definition).

What should you have

3+ years functional and technical experience with support of Firewall environment.
Fluent in English, in both verbal and written communication.
Possesses expert knowledge of Firewall including management (Cisco FTD/FMC, Palo Alto/Panorama GUI and CLI). Expert knowledge in engineering/supporting of firewall environment with hundreds of devices (large scale implementations).
Ability to provide support for Real-time events providing moderated services (support shifts).
Ability to acquire new skills in a diverse environment (mainly about DEVOPS, participating in Scrum projects for our environment).

Desired Experience and Skills:

Ansible (Tower).
Confluence/Jira.
