Job Description for Perimeter Security

CSFC Noida is looking for an experienced perimeter security candidate to join its team.

Candidate Persona

Ability to work with very large and complex networks. Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects, able to work with the team, manage tasks effectively, and has a proven track record of consistent and organized outputs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to understand complex problems and requirements, an aptitude for translating these problems into workable designs and solutions, and will possess a keen eye for detail.

This position is based in Noida, India.

Skills Required

1. 0 to 2.50 years for L1, 4+ years for L2 profiles, and 8+ years for L3 profiles.
2. Managing and configuring Firewall Rule Assurance tool, Checkpoint (or equivalent) Firewalls, VSX, MDS, Panorama, VPN, URL filtering and IPS/IDS is a must.
3. Strong knowledge in Palo Alto firewall / IDS / VPN.
4. Thorough understanding of network technologies – basic level routing, switching.
5. Hands-on experience with Next Gen Firewalls.
6. Experience in Content Scanners / Proxies, and IDS/IPS devices desirable.
7. Demonstrated experience with VPN technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
8. Excellent diagnostic / troubleshooting skills.
9. Experience with security products from vendors such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and other leading security vendors.
10. Certifications from major security vendors (Palo Alto, CheckPoint).
11. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Routing & Switching Concepts and troubleshooting experience.
12. Demonstrated experience working in both Unix and Windows based environments.

5. Client-facing technical analysis report and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. To clearly understand the client’s cybersecurity environment and respective product.
2. To monitor, configure, and troubleshoot cybersecurity issues and related monitoring tools.
3. To analyze and validate cybersecurity incidents in detail and help the L3 team with RCA or data or logs collection.
4. To enable knowledge transfer or trainings through creation or maintenance of configuration documents, test plans, operational manuals, and provide operational training to L1 team.
5. To analyze and fine-tune cybersecurity policies, participate in cybersecurity review calls pertaining to change requests and recommendations on cybersecurity policy changes.
6. To implement changes, monitor security device performance and implement performance tuning when necessary.
7. To prepare analyses and reports to highlight the project progress or challenges and ensure quality and accuracy to the client.

Qualification

B.E, B.Pharm, B.Tech, Bachelor of Science, BBA, BBM, BCA, BSc, B-Tech, M.E, M.Sc, M.TECH, Master of Science, MBA, MCA, ME/M Tech.
