The French Translator / German Translator plays a vital role in facilitating communication within our diverse organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Translate written documents from French to German and vice versa with high accuracy.

  • Ensure that all translated materials comply with company guidelines and brand voice.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in both languages.
  • Manage multiple translation projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Assist in developing translation tools and resources for optimization.
  • Provide feedback on the translation process to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Engage with clients for requirements gathering and feedback on translations.
  • Conduct translation quality assessments and audits on completed projects.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development within the field.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a translator, particularly in French and German.
  • In-depth knowledge of grammar, syntax, and style in both languages.
  • Excellent written communication skills in both French and German.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with translation software and tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., legal, medical, technical) is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt language style to different target audiences.
  • Prior experience working in a global or multicultural environment.
  • Excellent research skills to ensure accuracy of translations.
