Overview

The role of an ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer is critical in ensuring that various low voltage systems operate efficiently and safely within an organization. Key Responsibilities

5. Collaborate with architects and electrical engineers during project planning.
6. Test and validate the performance of installed systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
7. Provide technical support to clients regarding system functionalities and troubleshooting.
8. Prepare project schedules and manage timelines effectively.
9. Conduct regular maintenance checks and system upgrades as required.
10. Ensure all installations adhere to local safety regulations and industry standards.
11. Document all project phases, including adjustments and refinements.
12. Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality supply of materials for projects.
13. Assist in budget planning and cost estimation for ELV projects.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an ELV Engineer or similar role in the industry.
3. Professional certifications in low voltage systems or related areas are a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of ELV systems including security, fire alarm, and communication systems.
5. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to ELV systems.
6. Proficient in using design software and tools relevant to ELV engineering.
7. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
8. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
9. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
