Thermo Fisher Scientific Looking for System Analyst III at Bengaluru, Karnataka

We are looking for a driven individual who will be responsible for the support and design of all the requirements related to order to cash process mainly in the ERP space of Oracle JD Edwards for production support and projects. However, experience in SAP and/or AS400 JDE World would be advantageous but not mandatory.

Duties And Responsibilities Include:

1. Supports E1 ERP Business
2. Excellent Knowledge of OTC area. Subject matter best practices
3. Develops process documentation for processes and procedures
4. Participate in Service Desk function to resolve user related support calls
5. Prepare and execute test plans for new functionality
6. Publish communication related to the deployment of new functionality
7. Translate user requirements into user requests and program specifications
8. Work with programmers to assure compliance to program specifications
9. Develop training outlines for end-users
10. Ensure compliance to Thermo Fisher IT Policies and Guidelines
11. Gather user requirements to develop solutions and alternatives
12. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
13. Translate high-level information into details as well as summarize detailed information
14. Communicate and collaborate with users to analyse information needs and functional requirements
15. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs
16. Serve as the conduit between the user community and the software development team through which requirements flow
17. Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates
18. Liaise between the business, technology teams and support teams

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience acceptable
2. Extensive knowledge and experience of E1 ERP System
3. Knowledge of SAP and/or AS400 JDE World advantageous
4. Strong analytical and tech skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
5. Strong interpersonal and excellent documentation skills are a must
6. Ability to explain and champion technical concepts to a broad audience
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts

Relevant technical certificates a plus.

2. MBA in Sales and Marketing with domain experience
3. 6-10 years previous E1 ERP experience
4. Completed at least 3 full cycle implementations

7. Excellent client facing and presentation skills
8. Committed to a high level of customer service to internal clients
9. Ability to travel 50%
