LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) Looking for Salesforce Solution Architect at Bengaluru, Karnataka

Role Purpose:
The Data & Analytics division of LSEG is transforming their business with a digital vision which allows customers to explore, purchase and use the content on our strategic data platforms. Corporate Technology provides the commercial and finance platforms which empower this vision.

LSEG needs a Senior Solution Architect who has experience working across CRM, Data and ERP platforms as part of a large global enterprise transformation program, with a particular specialism in implementing Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Commerce Cloud architecture.

In the role, you will be accountable for defining end-to-end solutions on assigned projects, documenting the solution in a Solution Architecture Document and taking the solution through the LSEG governance processes. The role will also provide ongoing architectural guidance to multiple projects throughout their lifecycle.

Responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation and integrity of the Salesforce application within the enterprise. Also responsible for ensuring that the solution delivered to business units is engineered according to enterprise architecture and infrastructure standards. Salesforce technical and architecture knowledge is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with Business Stakeholders, Product Owner, Business Analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams.
2. Act as the solution architect to work with designers & tech lead to define the end-to-end solution & design covering all involved systems, data, integration, security and non-functional requirements.
3. Identify architecture exceptions during definitions of target and transitional architectures.
4. Follow governance processes agreed with CT Architecture Team – adherence to defined principles, policies, technology, information and process standards.
5. Produce and maintain architecture documentation including Solution Architecture Document, Data Flow Diagram, Integrated Architecture diagram, etc.
6. Review solution individually with key non-functional stakeholders e.g. Security, Privacy, etc.
7. Present solutions in various forums (like Design Integrity Forum, Architecture Committee, Architecture Review Board) and with different teams like Security, Privacy.
8. Help project team to size & estimate project implementation and identify resources and skillsets needed for delivery of solution.
9. Ensure the proposed solution aligns with the business outcome.
10. Ensure all solutions follow Corporate Technology and enterprise solution standards, align with overall roadmap, have good quality documentation, and follow all relevant governance steps.
11. Contribute to the ongoing review and update of Salesforce best standards and principles.

Critical Deliverables:

1. A fully articulated Solution Architecture Document that includes details on end-to-end solution from a conceptual, logical and physical level.
2. Security features and settings.
3. System integration details.
4. Risks and mitigations.

N.B. The role holder will be accountable for the delivery of this document but is expected to work with Subject Matter Experts to complete sections outside the role holder’s expertise.

Gathering approvals for the solution architecture through the LSEG Governance processes.

Impact:
This role sets the technology direction of the overall project and therefore can influence cost and timelines to the assigned projects.

Key KPIs:

1. Completion of Solution Architecture Document to agreed timelines.
2. Successful ‘sign off’ of the Solution as described in the Solution Architecture Document from the relevant stakeholders and review boards within the agreed timelines of the plan.
3. Ensure solutions retire applications where possible to reduce the total number of Corporate Technology Applications.

Technical/job functional knowledge:
Experienced in architecting, delivering and supporting Salesforce based systems:

1. Salesforce Sales Cloud.
2. Salesforce Service Cloud.
3. Salesforce CPQ.
4. Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Experienced in architecting the CRM transformation from traditional subscription commercials to usage commercials with the integrations with Product, CRM, Data and ERP platforms.

Familiarity with networking and security concepts.
Ideally, experience or knowledge of:

1. Onboarding SaaS solutions.
2. System integrations at application, data and network architecture domains.
3. Appreciation of InfoSec practices as applied in a regulated environment.
4. Strong technical acumen.

Appropriate Salesforce Architecture certification.
Proven experience in leading the solution architecture for Salesforce projects.
Proven knowledge of key Salesforce technologies.

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical partners and to listen to identified concerns and adapt accordingly.

4. To quickly build up a working knowledge of applications by working with others and reading up on new applications.
5. A continuous desire and willingness to learn and develop your current knowledge and skillset. Many projects will involve applications unfamiliar to the role holder.
6. Flexible in approach, adapting plans and strategies to help manage risks around ambiguity.
7. Problem solver with a strong intuition for business and well-versed in current technological trends and business concepts.
