Our Home Loan Savings teams at Deutsche Bank – Private Bank (TDI) develop and maintain applications for home loan savings business of Private Customers (BHW). Changes are implemented on time to market challenges as well as on development of the application landscape by using Google Cloud technology. In addition to the SAP-based home loan savings and mortgage lending core systems, the application portfolio also includes the business partner data systems, the connection to payment transactions, as well as the interface to the frontends and the data preparation and delivery for the bank's dispositive systems.

We are acting as a pilot for the migration to the Google Cloud with our applications and are preparing for the transition to an agile collaboration model. In the field of application governance, we have a growing team in India to work closely with the existing team in Germany, leveraging virtual collaboration techniques and the diversity of our team to achieve our goals of continuous delivery, process improvement, and internalization of technical expertise.

As a senior engineer (TISO), you are responsible for the information security and compliance topics as well as the remediation of upcoming issues and risks within the BHW system landscape. You are a technology-independent expert in the field of information security. You work closely with colleagues in the application governance team (ITAO / CISO), IT architecture, and IT operation departments in both agile and classic ways, contributing to the success of the growing domain Home Loan Savings.

Your Key Responsibilities

• You accompany risk assessments of the applications of the domain Home Loan Savings.
• You support the production of application compliance according to DB Security policies and establish processes and structures for maintenance and optimization.
• You regularly or ad hoc perform compliance checks of the applications against Deutsche Bank’s security policies and standards.
• You work closely with the IT Application Owner and advise them on necessary remediation measures and accompany them.
• You ensure and accompany regular security tests and security scanning and check the results for necessary follow-up.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Minimum 8 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience in coordination and cooperation in risk assessments and IT control in a regulated financial services area.
• Experience in the application of security policies and standards and best practices.
• Experience in the performance of compliance audits of technical processes.
• Experience in modern software development as well as cloud platforms and services (e.g. GCP), as well as understanding the use of security mechanisms (TLS, OAuth2, certificate-based authentication, etc.).
• Experience in setting standards and guidelines for IT security.
• Pro-active team player with very good communication and excellent English language skills for interacting with stakeholders; German language skills are a big plus.
• Experience with working together with Agile/SCRUM teams and their methods and tooling.
• Home Loan Savings know-how and Mortgage Lending know-how are a big plus.
