Data Scientist

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and curious Data Scientist to join our growing team. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to help drive strategic decision-making, build predictive models, and identify trends and opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  
• Build predictive and classification models using machine learning algorithms.
  
• Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends and patterns.
  
• Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  
• Design and implement A/B tests to validate hypotheses.
  
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate results.
  
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models into production environments.
  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques and technologies.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  
• Proven experience in a data science or analytics role (typically 2+ years for mid-level roles).
  
• Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL.
  
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  
• Strong knowledge of statistics and probability.
  
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  
• Experience working with large datasets and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
